Can testicular pain heal on its own?
Disease description:
Recently, I don't know why, one of my testicles has been slightly painful and somewhat swollen. I would like to ask, can testicular pain heal on its own?

In most cases, testicular pain does not resolve on its own and requires appropriate treatment based on the underlying cause. Reasons why testicular pain typically cannot heal spontaneously include:
1. Diverse causes: Testicular pain may result from various conditions such as orchitis, hydrocele, or testicular torsion, all of which usually require medical intervention for proper treatment.
2. Worsening inflammation: If the pain is caused by inflammation, failure to treat it promptly may lead to increased inflammation, more severe pain, and even impaired fertility.
3. Limited self-healing capacity of injuries: In cases of testicular trauma due to external impact, appropriate treatment based on the severity of injury is necessary; otherwise, the condition may deteriorate.
Therefore, when experiencing testicular pain, it is advisable to seek timely medical attention for accurate diagnosis and proper treatment to prevent disease progression. Additionally, patients should ensure adequate rest and avoid excessive physical strain during treatment to promote recovery.
