Management of Small Cysts in the Head of the Epididymis

The management of small epididymal head cysts mainly depends on the size of the cyst and associated symptoms. 1. Conservative treatment: For small, asymptomatic cysts, conservative treatment such as microwave therapy or warm compresses may be adopted to promote local blood circulation and help the cyst gradually shrink or reduce in size. 2. Medication: If the cyst is caused by bacterial infection, anti-inflammatory treatment with antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin or ofloxacin may be administered according to medical advice. 3. Surgical treatment: When the cyst is large or causes significant clinical symptoms, surgical intervention such as epididymal cystectomy is recommended to completely remove the cyst.
