The main symptoms of sepsis include:
1. Toxic blood symptoms: Often manifested as chills, high fever (typically remittent or intermittent fever), accompanied by general malaise, joint pain, headache, weakness, and significantly increased pulse and respiratory rate.
2. Gastrointestinal symptoms: May include nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, and diarrhea.
3. Skin rash: Petechiae commonly appear on the trunk, limbs, oral mucosa, and conjunctiva of the eyes.
