When headache and nausea occur after heatstroke, the following measures should be taken immediately to alleviate symptoms: 1. Rapid cooling: Move the patient to a cool, well-ventilated area. Use cold towels or ice packs to apply cold compresses to the forehead and neck to lower body temperature and reduce ongoing harm caused by high temperature. 2. Replenish fluids and electrolytes: Drink an appropriate amount of lightly salted water or electrolyte-containing beverages to replace fluids and salts lost through sweating and to prevent dehydration. 3. Symptomatic treatment: If the patient has a headache, gently massage acupoints such as the temples to promote blood circulation and relieve the headache. If symptoms are severe, painkillers may be taken under a doctor's guidance. For nausea, avoid eating greasy or irritating foods. The patient may drink warm water or ginger tea in moderation to alleviate the feeling of nausea. If vomiting is severe, seek medical attention promptly. 4. Rest and observation: Allow the patient to rest fully and avoid strenuous activity and excessive fatigue. At the same time, closely monitor changes in the patient's symptoms; if symptoms worsen, seek medical attention immediately.
