1. Respiratory symptoms: Heatstroke-induced cold is often accompanied by nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and coughing. Some patients may experience coughing with yellow or white phlegm. These symptoms are usually mild at the onset of the disease but may worsen as the condition progresses.
2. Fever: Heatstroke-induced cold typically causes fever, with body temperature rising above 38°C. Fever is one of the key manifestations of the illness.
3. General malaise: Patients may experience headache, muscle pain, fatigue, general discomfort, or tiredness. These symptoms may intensify as the illness progresses.
4. Throat symptoms: Sore throat, redness and swelling, lymph node enlargement, and even sensations of burning or foreign body in the throat are common symptoms of heatstroke-induced cold.
