Patients with high uric acid levels can eat king oyster mushrooms and black fungus, but the following points should be noted: 1. King oyster mushrooms: As a type of fungus, king oyster mushrooms have a relatively low purine content, containing approximately 30 mg of purine per 100 grams. Therefore, moderate consumption generally does not significantly affect uric acid levels. However, during acute gout attacks, it is recommended to avoid consuming king oyster mushrooms and other types of mushrooms to prevent exacerbation of the condition. 2. Black fungus: Black fungus is a low-purine food, containing about 29 mg of purine per 100 grams, which is far below the threshold for high-purine foods. Therefore, moderate consumption of black fungus does not significantly increase uric acid levels or cause adverse effects in individuals with high uric acid. Additionally, black fungus is rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients, which help promote intestinal motility, improve constipation, and provide essential nutritional support for the body.
