Why does the human heart ache?
I have noticed a lot of heart pain during this period, especially before going to sleep, and it has even caused insomnia. Why would a person's heart hurt?

Cardiac pain, commonly referred to as heart pain, can be caused by various factors:
1. During intense emotional fluctuations, the brain releases large amounts of stress hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol. These hormones may affect normal heart function, leading to symptoms similar to a heart attack, such as chest pain and shortness of breath. However, this condition is usually temporary and the symptoms tend to subside as emotional state recovers.
2. Excessive fatigue: Prolonged work or staying up late may cause physical exhaustion, triggering transient myocardial ischemia and resulting in heart pain.
3. Unhealthy eating habits: Irregular meals or excessive intake of irritating foods may burden the heart and lead to cardiac pain.
4. Gastrointestinal diseases: Conditions such as reflux esophagitis may cause acid reflux, affect normal eating, and trigger heart pain.
If persistent chest pain or difficulty breathing occurs, prompt medical attention is recommended.
