Causes of recent heart pain over the past few days
Recently, I have been feeling discomfort in my heart, which always beats very fast and is accompanied by a sensation of pain. May I ask, what could be the reason for experiencing pain in the heart?
Cardiac pain is a non-specific symptom that may be caused by various factors:
1. Angina: Cardiac pain caused by insufficient blood supply from the coronary arteries, often exacerbated by physical activity or emotional excitement. The pain may last for 3-5 minutes and can radiate to the left arm, neck, jaw, and back.
2. Myocardial infarction: Caused by complete blockage of a coronary artery leading to heart muscle damage; the pain is more severe and lasts longer, accompanied by shortness of breath, nausea, and sweating.
3. Heart valve disease: May cause cardiac pain, especially during exercise. Symptoms may include chest discomfort, shortness of breath, and fatigue.
4. Inflammation: Inflammation of the ribs, chest wall muscles, or joints may also manifest as pain in the cardiac region.
5. Physiological factors: Excessive fatigue, negative emotions, and unhealthy dietary habits may also lead to transient cardiac pain.
If persistent cardiac pain occurs, especially when accompanied by symptoms such as shortness of breath, sweating, and nausea, prompt medical attention is recommended.
