Early symptoms of duodenal cancer
It has been about two to three months since my bowel movements have not been well-formed. Sometimes there has been blood in the stool. A relative of mine previously had duodenal cancer, and I'm worried about possible hereditary factors. I would like to know what symptoms this condition may present with?

Early symptoms of duodenal cancer are usually not very obvious and may vary among individuals. The following are some possible early symptoms:
1. Indigestion: Including abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, a feeling of fullness, nausea, and vomiting. These symptoms may resemble those of common gastrointestinal diseases and thus are easily overlooked.
2. Weight loss: Unexplained weight loss may be an early sign of cancer, as the tumor consumes the body's energy and nutrients.
3. Loss of appetite: Patients may experience a decreased interest in food, which may be related to indigestion.
4. Jaundice: If the tumor is large enough, it may block the bile duct, causing impaired bile excretion and resulting in jaundice, characterized by yellowing of the skin and sclera.
5. Black or bloody stools: Gastrointestinal bleeding may cause the stool to turn black or contain bright red blood.
However, these symptoms are not specific to duodenal cancer and may also be associated with other diseases. Nevertheless, if these symptoms occur, prompt medical attention is advised.
