In general, tinnitus in young people may resolve spontaneously, depending on factors such as the underlying cause, severity, and the individual's overall health condition.

Short-term tinnitus caused by temporary factors such as high stress levels, fatigue, lack of sleep, emotional fluctuations, or exposure to loud environments may resolve on its own once these triggering factors are eliminated. For example, a young person who develops tinnitus due to prolonged late-night work may find the symptoms gradually decrease and eventually disappear after resuming a normal sleep schedule and ensuring adequate rest. Similarly, individuals who experience tinnitus after attending a rock concert or being in a high-decibel environment may find that the symptoms subside spontaneously after leaving the noisy environment and allowing themselves sufficient time to recover.

Tinnitus caused by reversible medical conditions may also resolve following effective treatment of the underlying disease. For instance, patients whose tinnitus results from eustachian tube dysfunction triggered by an upper respiratory tract infection often find that the tinnitus disappears once the infection is controlled and eustachian tube function returns to normal. Similarly, young individuals with secretory otitis media may experience relief from tinnitus after undergoing standard medical or surgical treatment, once fluid in the middle ear is absorbed and the inflammation subsides.

However, tinnitus caused by conditions that are difficult to cure, such as inner ear acoustic neuroma or Ménière's disease, typically does not resolve spontaneously. It is recommended to maintain healthy lifestyle habits in daily life, such as avoiding prolonged exposure to loud music, undergoing regular hearing checkups, and promptly treating colds and sinusitis, all of which can help prevent the onset of tinnitus.
