Introduction
Patients experiencing dizziness and stomach pain may have been exposed to high temperatures for prolonged periods, leading to a significant rise in body temperature and an inability to dissipate heat effectively, resulting in heatstroke that affects the central nervous system. The symptoms could also be caused by viral gastroenteritis (intestinal flu) due to viral infections such as adenovirus, Coxsackievirus, or rhinovirus. Alternatively, they may result from gastroenteritis caused by infections with bacteria, viruses, or parasites.

Dizziness and stomach pain may be caused by heatstroke, gastrointestinal-type cold, or gastroenteritis.

1. Heatstroke

Dizziness and stomach pain may occur in individuals who have been exposed to high temperatures for prolonged periods, causing a significant rise in body temperature. When the body cannot dissipate heat effectively, it may lead to heatstroke due to stimulation of the central nervous system. Patients may also experience symptoms such as weakness, vomiting, and nausea.

2. Gastrointestinal-type Cold

This condition may result from viral infections, such as adenovirus, coxsackievirus, or rhinovirus. It commonly occurs when the body's resistance is low, for example, after getting caught in the rain. Symptoms may include headache, chills, fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and vomiting.

3. Gastroenteritis

Gastroenteritis may be caused by infections from bacteria, viruses, or parasites, such as Salmonella, Escherichia coli, rotavirus, adenovirus, schistosomes, or Cryptosporidium. Patients may also experience symptoms including fatigue, vomiting, nausea, poor appetite, and bloating.
