Introduction
"Auntie" usually refers to menstruation. It is generally not advisable to get an ear piercing when menstruation is nearing its end, as it may have adverse effects on the body. Menstruation nearing its end means the period has not completely finished. During menstruation, the body's immunity decreases and physical strength weakens. Since ear piercing causes trauma to the skin, it may easily lead to bleeding, infection, and delayed wound healing.

Menstruation, commonly referred to as "menstrual period," should not be nearing its end when considering ear piercing, as it may negatively affect the body. Ear piercing causes a certain degree of skin trauma, which can easily lead to bleeding and infection, and may hinder wound healing.

When menstruation is nearing its end, it means the period has not completely finished. During menstruation, the body's immunity decreases and physical strength is weaker. Since ear piercing involves skin trauma, it increases the risk of bleeding and infection and slows down wound healing. Additionally, blood clotting function may slightly decline during this time, so ear piercing could result in increased bleeding that is difficult to stop. Moreover, women tend to be more sensitive to pain during menstruation; the pain from ear piercing might stimulate uterine contractions, potentially affecting menstrual flow, altering the amount or duration of menstruation, and possibly worsening menstrual cramps.

It is recommended to wait until after menstruation ends before getting an ear piercing. Keep the pierced area clean and dry, avoid spicy or irritating foods, and disinfect the wound regularly as directed.
