What Are the Normal Values for Urinalysis Parameters?
Disease description:
Recently, I’ve been experiencing frequent urination. I went for a routine urinalysis—what are the normal reference values for each parameter in a routine urinalysis?
Urinalysis:
- Urine pH normally ranges from 4.8 to 7.8.
- Nitrite test should be negative.
- Bilirubin in urine should also be negative.
- Specific gravity typically falls within the normal range of 1.010 to 1.030.
Slight variations in these values may occur depending on individual physiological conditions. Urinalysis results can aid in diagnosing various diseases.
