Painful urination (dysuria) is commonly caused by a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs typically cause a burning or stinging sensation during urination and are often accompanied by urinary frequency. In more severe cases, hematuria (blood in the urine) may also occur. It is recommended that you visit a reputable local hospital and consult the urology department for a thorough evaluation. If a UTI is confirmed, oral levofloxacin capsules may be prescribed.
