Introduction
After heatstroke, the body's ability to dissipate heat becomes impaired and internal heat increases, leading to fever. Generally, once the body is removed from the hot environment and begins to self-regulate, body temperature should stabilize. If recurrent fever occurs after heatstroke, this may indicate a possible infection. In such cases, hospital treatment with intravenous fluids is required.

If fluid replacement and fever-reducing treatments are not promptly administered during heatstroke, fever may recur repeatedly. Once the body's fluid requirements are met, the fever will not last long.

After heatstroke, the body’s ability to dissipate heat is impaired, leading to increased internal temperature and subsequent fever. Under normal circumstances, once the body is removed from the hot environment, it begins to self-regulate. However, if recurrent fever occurs after heatstroke, this may indicate a possible infection, and medical treatment with intravenous fluids at a hospital is necessary. In cases of fever caused by heatstroke, timely replenishment of water and electrolytes is essential to maintain acid-base balance and reduce body temperature. Symptoms can be alleviated by taking Huoxiang Zhengqi Water or low-concentration saline solution. Under a doctor's guidance, antipyretics such as ibuprofen may be used, along with omeprazole to suppress gastric acid and protect the gastric mucosa.

If body temperature becomes excessively high, immediate cooling measures must be taken, along with adequate hydration, to prevent heatstroke. During summer, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided to prevent sunburn.
