Introduction
After vomiting due to heatstroke, immediately move the person to a cool place, replenish fluids and electrolytes, ensure airway通畅, apply physical cooling methods, and use antiemetic medications cautiously. If symptoms such as persistent vomiting, confusion, or body temperature exceeding 38.5°C occur, prompt medical treatment at a正规 hospital is recommended. During daily care and recovery, the diet should primarily consist of light, easily digestible liquid foods such as rice soup and thin porridge.

After heatstroke-induced vomiting, the person should immediately be moved to a cool place, rehydrate with fluids and electrolytes, maintain an open airway, use physical methods to lower body temperature, and cautiously consider antiemetic medication. If symptoms such as persistent vomiting, confusion, or body temperature exceeding 38.5°C occur, prompt medical attention at a正规 hospital is recommended. Detailed measures are as follows:

1. Immediately move to a cool place

High-temperature environments continuously increase the body's heat load. The patient should be quickly moved to a shaded, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, to help the body exit the heat-stress state and alleviate vomiting caused by rising core body temperature.

2. Replenish fluids and electrolytes

Vomiting easily leads to loss of water and electrolytes. The patient may drink small amounts of light salt water or oral rehydration solution frequently. Each serving should be limited to 100–150 mL to avoid stimulating the gastrointestinal tract with excessive fluid intake, which could worsen vomiting.

3. Maintain an open airway

Position the patient on their side or turn their head to one side to prevent aspiration. Promptly clear any vomit from the mouth to avoid airway blockage and suffocation. Loosen restrictive clothing such as collars and belts to ensure unobstructed breathing.

4. Use physical cooling methods

Cool the body by wiping moist towels over areas rich in blood vessels, such as the forehead, neck, and armpits, allowing evaporation to dissipate heat. Alternatively, wrap ice packs in a towel and place them on these areas to rapidly reduce core body temperature.

5. Use antiemetic medication cautiously

Medication is not recommended for mild vomiting, as it may mask underlying conditions. For severe vomiting, only use safe antiemetic drugs under medical guidance to avoid adverse reactions from self-medication.

In daily care, during recovery, the diet should consist mainly of light, easily digestible liquid foods such as rice soup and porridge, gradually transitioning back to a normal diet. Avoid spicy and greasy foods that may irritate the gastrointestinal tract. Limit outdoor activities during hot weather, take proper sun protection when going outside, carry refreshing drinks, and take preventive measures to avoid recurrent heatstroke.
