Introduction
Heatstroke at home accompanied by headache can be relieved by removing the person from the high-temperature environment, cooling measures, and oral medications. Move the individual to a well-ventilated, cool area or an air-conditioned room. Drink cool salt water or refreshing beverages containing salt, and use methods such as cold water immersion, ice packs, or cooling blankets to lower body temperature. In cases of severe symptoms, take medications such as acetaminophen tablets, ibuprofen sustained-release capsules, Shidi Shui (Ten-Drop Water), or Huoxiang Zhengqi Water.

If you experience a headache due to heatstroke at home, symptoms can be relieved through measures such as moving away from the high-temperature environment, cooling treatments, and taking oral medications.

1. Leave the high-temperature environment

If the indoor temperature at home is too high, it is recommended to immediately leave this environment and move to a well-ventilated, cool area or an air-conditioned room to rest. Discomfort caused by heatstroke will gradually subside.

2. Cooling treatment

It is advisable to drink cool saline water or refreshing beverages containing salt. You may also relieve headache symptoms caused by heatstroke through methods such as cold water immersion, applying ice packs, or using cooling blankets.

3. Oral medication

If headache symptoms from heatstroke at home are severe, it is recommended to take medications such as acetaminophen tablets or ibuprofen sustained-release capsules under medical guidance to alleviate symptoms. If accompanied by nausea, vomiting, or other discomforts, medications such as Shidi Shui (Ten-Drop Water) or Huoxiang Zhengqi Water may also be taken as directed by a physician.

In addition to the above methods, symptoms can also be improved by gently massaging the temples or applying mentholated topical oils such as cooling oil or essential balm to the forehead.
