Introduction
Low back pain, fatigue, and weakness may be caused by factors such as lumbar muscle strain, osteoporosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, lumbar disc herniation, or endometriosis. During episodes of low back pain, fatigue, and weakness, it is important to get adequate rest and avoid strenuous activities. If the pain persists for an extended period, timely medical evaluation is necessary to identify the underlying cause. Follow a doctor's advice to receive targeted treatment and prevent further progression of the condition.

Low back pain accompanied by fatigue and weakness may be caused by conditions such as lumbar muscle strain, osteoporosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, lumbar disc herniation, or endometriosis.

1. Lumbar Muscle Strain

Prolonged sitting or engaging in long-term heavy physical labor involving the lower back can lead to strain of the lumbar muscles. This often results in low back pain along with symptoms such as general fatigue, soreness, and discomfort. It is advisable to avoid excessive腰部活动 and prioritize rest. Appropriate local massage or heat application may help relax the muscles and alleviate discomfort.

2. Osteoporosis

This condition weakens and makes bones more brittle and prone to fracture, which can limit posture and mobility. As a result, patients may experience low back pain, restricted movement, and generalized weakness. It is recommended to take medications such as alfacalcidol soft capsules, alendronate sodium tablets, or vitamin D3 tablets as prescribed by a physician to help relieve symptoms.

3. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID)

When the pelvic region becomes infected with inflammation, it may cause abdominal pain that radiates to the lower back, resulting in aching pain in the lumbar area. This is often accompanied by symptoms such as body fatigue and abnormal vaginal discharge. Under medical guidance, antibiotics such as amoxicillin capsules, cefuroxime axetil tablets, or azithromycin capsules are recommended to control the spread of infection and improve symptoms.

4. Lumbar Disc Herniation

When the nucleus pulposus of the intervertebral disc protrudes and compresses the dura mater and lumbar nerves, it may cause sharp or radiating pain, numbness, and other symptoms in the lower back. During episodes of pain, patients may also experience limited mobility and overall fatigue. Anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications such as ibuprofen sustained-release capsules, diclofenac sodium sustained-release capsules, or celecoxib capsules should be taken under a doctor’s supervision.

5. Endometriosis

Ectopic endometrial tissue can lead to abnormal adhesions and scarring within the pelvic cavity, disrupting normal pelvic function. This may manifest as low back pain, along with symptoms like lack of energy and abnormal secretions. As directed by a physician, hormonal treatments such as ethinylestradiol/cyproterone acetate tablets, drospirenone/ethinylestradiol tablets, or desogestrel/ethinylestradiol tablets may be used to reduce pituitary gonadotropin levels and help alleviate symptoms.

During episodes of low back pain, fatigue, and weakness, adequate rest is essential, and strenuous physical activity should be avoided. If pain persists for an extended period, prompt medical evaluation is necessary. Accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment according to the underlying cause should be followed under medical supervision to prevent disease progression.
