Introduction
Hernia mesh surgery includes traditional hernia repair, tension-free hernia repair, and laparoscopic hernia repair. Currently, laparoscopic hernia repair is a commonly used clinical treatment method, characterized by minimal invasiveness and rapid recovery. After surgery, it is important to get adequate rest, develop healthy lifestyle habits, and avoid spicy and irritating foods. Note that the procedure must be performed under the guidance of a qualified physician.

Generally, hernia mesh surgery includes traditional hernia repair, tension-free hernia repair, and laparoscopic hernia repair. Taking laparoscopic hernia repair as an example, the specific procedure is as follows:

1. Administer general anesthesia. Make a 1 cm laparoscopic exploration incision at the umbilicus and two 5 mm laparoscopic working port incisions at the lateral edges of the rectus abdominis muscles on both sides.

2. Use the laparoscope to examine the abdominal cavity, identify the location and extent of the hernia, confirm the type and classification of the hernia, and document the findings.

3. Incise the peritoneum approximately 2 cm above the defect at the internal ring, taking care to avoid injury to the inferior epigastric vessels.

4. Dissect the superior and inferior peritoneal flaps to reach the preperitoneal space. Then dissect the spaces on both sides of the peritoneum, and further separate the medial peritoneal flap downward and medially until reaching the pubovesical space medially and the space near the anterior superior iliac spine laterally.

5. Reduce the indirect hernia sac from the inguinal canal back into the internal ring. Properly place the mesh in the preperitoneal space and secure it with sutures to prevent displacement.

6. Close the opened peritoneal defect with sutures. After confirming hemostasis, withdraw the trocars and complete the procedure.

Laparoscopic hernia repair is characterized by minimal invasiveness and rapid recovery, making it a commonly used treatment method in clinical practice. Postoperatively, patients should rest adequately, maintain healthy lifestyle habits, and avoid spicy or irritating foods that may impair recovery. Note: This procedure must be performed under the guidance of a qualified physician.
