Introduction
Watermelon is a common summer fruit that contains abundant water, minerals, and vitamins. It has effects of clearing heat and relieving summer heat, as well as promoting saliva secretion to quench thirst. During hot weather, moderate consumption of watermelon can help the body replenish lost fluids and electrolytes, thus aiding in the prevention of heatstroke. Nectarine is another nutrient-rich fruit containing vitamins and dietary fiber.

Eating watermelon and nectarines together may help prevent heatstroke to some extent, but it cannot fully prevent it.

Watermelon is a common summer fruit that contains abundant water, minerals, and vitamins, and has effects of clearing heat, relieving summer heat, promoting saliva production, and quenching thirst. During hot weather, moderate consumption of watermelon can help the body replenish lost water and electrolytes, which aids in preventing heatstroke. Nectarines are also nutritious fruits containing vitamins and dietary fiber. Eating watermelon and nectarines together can help quench thirst and relieve summer heat, thus helping to prevent heatstroke to some extent.

However, it should be noted that although watermelon and nectarines offer these benefits, they cannot completely prevent heatstroke. Heatstroke is caused by prolonged exposure to high temperatures and an imbalance in the body's heat dissipation mechanisms. Relying solely on food to prevent heatstroke is insufficient. Moreover, excessive consumption of watermelon and nectarines may cause gastrointestinal discomfort, such as diarrhea, which could actually increase the risk of heatstroke.

In daily life, avoiding exposure to high temperatures and promptly replenishing water and electrolytes can help prevent heatstroke.
