Both black and red goji berries belong to the Solanaceae family and the Lycium genus. The core component of black goji berries is anthocyanin, which has strong antioxidant properties. Red goji berries primarily contain lycium polysaccharides, betaine, and carotene. Black goji berries are more focused on antioxidant effects, eye protection, and immune enhancement, whereas red goji berries emphasize nourishing the liver and kidneys and regulating metabolism. The components of the two types of goji berries are not conflicting, and they can complement each other nutritionally.

  Under normal circumstances, black goji berries can be consumed together with red goji berries, but it is important to avoid excessive consumption. Detailed analysis is as follows:
