Can a high heart rate during running be reduced through training?
Disease description:
My heart rate remains high both during and after running. Can a high running heart rate be reduced through training?
After running, your heart rate is very high. However, if you intensify your exercise regimen and run consistently every day, your resting heart rate will gradually decrease—provided you maintain consistency. Currently, the amount of exercise you do each day is less important than maintaining daily regularity. Even a single session of intense exercise offers no long-term benefit—and will not lower your heart rate—if it is not sustained over time. In contrast, even small amounts of daily exercise are beneficial for your heart.
