Behçet’s disease is primarily managed with pharmacotherapy. As the severity of the condition varies among patients, treatment regimens are individualized. In mild cases—characterized solely by oral ulcers without involvement of other internal organs—oral thalidomide, as prescribed by the physician, is typically sufficient. However, if internal organs are involved, additional immunosuppressive agents such as cyclophosphamide or azathioprine must be administered alongside thalidomide.
