How to Determine the Fetus’s Sex
Disease description:
I am already over three months pregnant and am especially curious to know the baby’s sex. How can one determine the fetus’s gender?
Determining the fetal sex is typically performed around four months into pregnancy via ultrasound examination at a hospital. Ultrasound can generally identify the fetus’s sex; however, there remains a possibility of error. Ultrasound examination should neither be conducted too early nor too late. If performed too early, the fetus’s external genitalia may not yet be fully developed, making accurate identification impossible. If performed too late, the fetus is often larger and may fill the uterine cavity, thereby interfering with a proper examination.
