How can uveitis be completely cured?
Disease description:
When I looked in the mirror this morning, I noticed my eye was unusually red. Worried that I might be ill, I went to the hospital for a checkup. The doctor diagnosed me with uveitis. I would like to know how uveitis can be completely cured.
Uveitis can generally be treated under a doctor's guidance with corticosteroid eye drops such as prednisolone acetate or hydrocortisone acetate, or with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as pranoprofen eye drops or diclofenac sodium. If the treatment response is unsatisfactory, surgical interventions such as vitrectomy or laser photocoagulation may be considered based on the physician's recommendation.
