The difference between an anteverted and a retroverted uterus lies in the directional positioning of the uterus. An anteverted uterus tilts forward toward the abdominal wall, whereas a retroverted uterus tilts backward toward the spine. Both anteverted and retroverted positions are normal uterine orientations, neither causing harm to the body nor affecting normal conception and childbirth.
