The treatment outcomes for nephrotic syndrome vary depending on the pathological type: 1. Cure rate and pathological type: Nephrotic syndrome caused by minimal change disease and mild mesangial proliferation can be completely cured or achieve clinical remission, with a relatively good prognosis. 2. Treatment difficulty: Nephrotic syndrome resulting from severe mesangial proliferation, stage III-IV membranous nephropathy, focal sclerosis, or mesangiocapillary glomerulonephritis is more difficult to treat, as it is often accompanied by renal insufficiency and hypertension, and shows poor responsiveness to corticosteroids and immunosuppressive agents. 3. Comprehensive treatment: The management of nephrotic syndrome should be individualized and comprehensive, incorporating drug therapy (corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, diuretics, etc.), anticoagulant therapy, dialysis, kidney transplantation, and lifestyle modifications. 4. Risk of recurrence: Even after achieving clinical remission, some patients may experience recurrence; therefore, regular follow-up and long-term management are necessary.
