The main causes of syringoma formation include genetic factors, gender factors, endocrine disorders, environmental factors, and lifestyle habits. Regarding genetic factors, individuals with a family history have a higher risk of developing the condition. With respect to gender, women, especially young women, are more susceptible, possibly related to estrogen levels. Endocrine disorders, such as hyperthyroidism, may also trigger syringomas. In addition, long-term exposure to hot and humid environments, excessive use of oily skincare products that may clog pores, lack of exercise, and unhealthy lifestyle habits can also increase the risk of developing syringomas. For daily care, avoiding excessive friction or irritation of the affected area and maintaining clean, dry skin can help reduce discomfort associated with syringomas. If the syringomas grow rapidly or affect quality of life, prompt medical attention is recommended.
