What should I do about persistent needle marks?
Disease description:
I have a stye on my eye, which makes me very uncomfortable. I would like to know what I should do if a stye occurs.

"Stye" usually refers to hordeolum, which is commonly known as a麦粒肿(pimple-like bump on the eyelid). It is caused by bacterial infection of the meibomian glands at the edge of the eyelid or the sebaceous glands near the hair follicles of the eyelashes. Below are some management suggestions:
1. Warm compress: Apply warm, moist compresses several times a day, each time for 15–20 minutes, which can help reduce inflammation and promote drainage of pus.
2. Topical medication: Apply antibiotic eye ointment, such as tetracycline or erythromycin ointment, as prescribed by a physician, following medical instructions.
3. Avoid squeezing: Never squeeze the stye with your hands, as this may cause the infection to spread to surrounding tissues and even lead to more serious complications.
4. Maintain eye hygiene: Wash hands frequently, avoid rubbing the eyes, and prevent bacterial reinfection.
5. Dietary adjustment: Eat more foods rich in vitamin A and C, such as carrots and citrus fruits, which are beneficial for eye health.
Note: If the stye does not resolve, the pain worsens, or symptoms such as fever and spreading of redness and swelling of the eye occur, seek immediate medical attention.
