Symptoms of Polyneuritis
Disease description:
I feel that I may have some motor impairments and am concerned about neuritis. What are the symptoms of polyneuropathy?
Polyneuritis presents with sensory abnormalities such as pain and numbness, motor disturbances including muscle weakness and hypotonia, and autonomic nervous system dysfunction—manifesting as coldness, pallor, cyanosis, or abnormal sweating in the extremities. Prompt medical evaluation at a hospital is essential. Polyneuritis may be associated with underlying conditions such as diabetes mellitus and uremia; therefore, active treatment of the primary disease is required.
