Cervical screening bleeding may be due to the influence of estrogen secretion in the body, causing changes in the columnar epithelium on the surface of the cervical canal. It could also result from cervicitis; in such cases, vaginal secretions significantly increase and irritate the cervical opening, leading to local erosion and bleeding. Additionally, cervical cancer may also cause these symptoms.
