Introduction
Cupping generally refers to fire cupping. In most cases, shoulder soreness after cupping may be caused by mental tension, shoulder exposure to cold, or similar factors, and symptoms can usually be relieved through daily self-care, medication, and other methods. If the patient experiences severe pain, medications should be taken under a doctor's guidance. The patient may take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs to alleviate physical discomfort.

Cupping generally refers to fire cupping. In most cases, shoulder soreness after cupping may be caused by mental tension, shoulder exposure to cold, or similar factors, and it can usually be relieved through daily care, medication, and other methods. The specific analysis is as follows:

1. Daily care: If the shoulder soreness after cupping is not severe, it can be alleviated through daily adjustments. Patients are advised to relax their minds and avoid stress, anxiety, depression, etc.; pay attention to weather changes and dress appropriately; and increase physical activity moderately, such as radio calisthenics, swimming, badminton, which can promote shoulder recovery.

2. Medication: If the pain is more severe, in addition to daily care, patients may take medications under a doctor's guidance to relieve symptoms. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can be taken to reduce discomfort, such as indomethacin tablets, meloxicam capsules, etoricoxib tablets, etc. Alternatively, blood-activating and stasis-resolving medications such as Duyiwei capsules, Zhikang capsules, or Tongbi capsules may be used for treatment.
