In high-altitude environments, the oxygen concentration in the air is lower, making it easier for the body to become hypoxic. Hypoxia may lead to myocardial ischemia, causing myocardial cell death or damage, thereby resulting in cardiac pain.

Chest pain associated with high-altitude reaction may be caused by factors such as hypoxia, vasoconstriction, and coronary artery spasm. It can be improved through general treatments, medications, and other methods. The specific analysis is as follows:

1. Hypoxia

In high-altitude environments, the oxygen concentration in the air is lower, making it easier for the body to become hypoxic. Hypoxia may lead to myocardial ischemia, causing myocardial cell death or damage, thereby resulting in chest pain. Patients can improve symptoms by receiving supplemental oxygen.

2. Vasoconstriction

In high-altitude environments, the body undergoes vasoconstriction to adapt to low-oxygen conditions, aiming to increase oxygen content in the blood. However, vasoconstriction may increase cardiac workload, leading to chest pain. Under medical guidance, patients may use medications such as Captopril tablets or Valsartan capsules to promote blood circulation.
