Introduction
Wheezing sounds in the airways of asthma patients may be caused by cold air irritation, improper diet, exposure to allergens, engaging in intense physical activity, or deficiency of trace elements. Asthma is generally defined as a respiratory disease characterized by abnormal bronchial spasms that restrict normal airflow. If the bronchi are stimulated by cold external air, symptoms may easily be triggered.

Wheezing sounds in the airways of asthma patients may be caused by cold air irritation, improper diet, exposure to allergens, engaging in intense physical activity, or deficiency of trace elements. Specific explanations are as follows:

1. Cold Air Irritation

Asthma is typically a respiratory condition characterized by abnormal bronchial spasms that restrict normal airflow. If the bronchi are stimulated by cold external air, symptoms may be triggered, resulting in the aforementioned wheezing. This can be alleviated by appropriately increasing the indoor temperature.

2. Improper Diet

Consuming spicy, greasy, raw, or cold foods—particularly those with strong irritants—may trigger abnormal bronchial reactions and lead to such symptoms. In this case, drinking warm water in moderation may help relieve bronchial spasms and suppress symptom onset.

3. Exposure to Allergens

Contact with allergens or environmental dust may provoke an immune response in the body, leading to these symptoms. It is important to follow medical advice and promptly take antihistamines such as loratadine tablets or levocetirizine hydrochloride tablets to alleviate symptoms.

4. Intense Physical Activity

If a patient has low lung capacity and engages in vigorous exercise, it may result in insufficient oxygen supply and rapid breathing, causing the above symptoms. These can usually be relieved through adequate rest.

5. Trace Element Deficiency

Inadequate intake of trace elements such as zinc or iron may weaken the immune system, making asthma attacks more likely and contributing to these symptoms. Treatment under medical guidance may include zinc sulfate oral solution or zinc gluconate oral solution.

Besides the above, other possible causes include medication effects, psychological factors, or the condition being in the pre-attack phase. It is recommended that asthma patients always carry medications that can quickly control asthma attacks.
