Introduction
Epididymectomy is a relatively minor superficial surgical procedure in urology, commonly used to treat conditions such as epididymal tuberculosis, benign epididymal tumors, and recurrent chronic epididymitis. If this surgery is required, it is recommended to go to a正规 hospital and have the procedure performed under the guidance of a qualified physician to minimize surgical risks. After surgery, adequate rest is important, and strenuous physical activity should be avoided in the short term.

Generally, epididymectomy is a relatively minor superficial surgical procedure in urology, commonly used to treat conditions such as tuberculous epididymitis, benign epididymal tumors, and recurrent chronic epididymitis. The specific surgical steps are as follows:

1. The patient is placed in a supine position and administered general anesthesia.

2. After anesthesia is complete, the scrotal area is routinely disinfected and draped.

3. A vertical incision approximately 5 cm in length is made on the surface of the left scrotum, and layers are sequentially dissected to expose the testis and epididymis.

4. The epididymal tissue is grasped with atraumatic clamps, and the epididymis is excised using an electrocautery scalpel along the plane between the testis and epididymis.

5. The vas deferens is divided at the tail end of the epididymis, allowing complete removal of the epididymis from the body.

6. After confirming hemostasis, the incision is closed layer by layer, completing the procedure.

If this surgery is required, it is recommended to visit a正规 hospital and undergo the procedure under the guidance of a qualified physician to minimize surgical risks. Postoperatively, adequate rest is essential; strenuous activities should be avoided for a short period, and proper wound care must be maintained to prevent infection.
