Introduction
Under normal circumstances, the third day of menstruation falls within the follicular phase. Menstruation is part of the female reproductive system and refers to the monthly physiological process involving cyclic shedding and discharge of the uterine lining. The menstrual cycle is typically divided into three phases: the follicular phase, the ovulatory phase, and the luteal phase. The period during which ovarian follicles grow and develop is known as the follicular phase; when the follicle matures, it enters the ovulatory phase; and after ovulation, it is called the luteal phase.

Under normal circumstances, the third day of menstruation falls within the follicular phase. The specific analysis is as follows:

Menstruation is part of the female reproductive system and refers to the monthly physiological shedding and discharge of the uterine lining. A typical menstrual cycle can generally be divided into three phases: the follicular phase, ovulation phase, and luteal phase. The stage in which ovarian follicles grow and develop is known as the follicular phase; when the follicles mature, it transitions into the ovulation phase; and after ovulation comes the luteal phase. On the third day of menstruation, follicles have not yet matured, their numbers are relatively low, and they remain small in size, thus this period belongs to the follicular phase. This time is suitable for undergoing a six-hormone panel test to assess one's hormonal status. Although follicles are not yet mature during the follicular phase, it is not absolutely safe—pregnancy is still possible.

It is recommended that during menstruation, women pay attention to staying warm, get adequate rest, avoid excessive fatigue, and refrain from consuming spicy or irritating foods to prevent disruption of the normal menstrual cycle.
